1st December- I actually had an advent calender this year! Quite i nice way to start of the day! :P
Im currently going through the UCAS process applying for university, and i can't beleive its all actaully happening. Iv applied to 5 uni's all nowhere near where i live- which was completely the idea. Iv already reciecved an "unsuccessful" from York, which i kind of expected as I really dont have the AS grades, but i just love the city so wanted to apply... I have had an acknowlegement from Canterbury Christ church, Nottingham and Hertfordshire but still waiting to hear from Oxford Brookes! It so fustrating because sooo many people at my school have been given offers and i havent even been offered an interview (which is what i need before they can even consider giving me an offer) !!
Its soo annoying because i want to study midwifery more than anything, and i am soo passionate about it, but i really messed up my AS grades (DDC) which meant my predicted grades were only BCD. I need a minimum of CCC just to get into the lowest uni hertfordshire...
I dont know. It's just strange when there are seriously clever people going to study stuff like "philosophy" and they dont even know what they want to do, so just apply to uni! Im not amazingly clever but i do try so hard, and would love more than anything to be a midwife.
I volunteer on a maternity ward, and see the health care assisstants and midwives around me and it makes me want it even more!!But i know i need to do well in my a levels, to get where i want to be!!
ARGHH its sooo stressful!!
At the same time im rehearsing for our school's "Gym & Dance Show" - I'm one of four lead singers, which is cool cause im always in the chorus. ( I dont do gym or dance by the way- just sing). And i'v also recently got into a soul band which i love and we're performing a few songs in the week after the other big show! Busy.busy.busy!!!!!!
After my little trip to tesco's today i found my favourite fruit LYCHEE'S in a can!!
I actually can't beleive it!! I have always loved them but they are usually so expensive and you hardly get any in a pack. These ones however are peeled and stoned, there are loads of them and to top it off are 93p!! Bargin!! If you think this blog is totally rubbish and have got nothing from it, at least get your bum down to the shop and get some!!! They are AMAZING- you will not regret it! (some people say they taste like perfume...)
Typically its a thursday night and i have an essay due for the morning and im on the internet typing away when i should be doing my work! Its just so hard to write about things that i have no interest in!!
If you have just stumbled across this blog! Please do add me or whatever it is you do on here.. I dont really get how you see the other kind of blogs you are interested in. The way i've figured out is to just click on "next blog" on the top of the page. But the only blogs i seem to come across are artists ones- tad strange! So if anyone fancies explaining this to me- Feel Free!
